Has the M&E Contractors been consulted prior to plasterboard commencing to ensure install 1st fix is fully complete?

Is Air-tightness membranes and tapes correctly installed and sealed creating an air-tight membrane to the building? (WOULD YOU BE HAPPY IF IT WAS YOUR HOUSE?)

If specificed/applicable, has an air-tight plaster coat been installed to external walls following air-tight membrane install and prior to slabbing?

Have all stud walls received acoustic insulation as per specification?

Have floor joist spaces received acoustic insulation as per speification?

Is all plasterboard fixed in accordance with material data sheet max. centres and correct fixings? Incl. flat strap for fire rated walls.

Have all fire rated walls received correct number, thickness and type of plasterboard as per agreed fire rating build up?

Are all letterboxes treated correctly inline with firestopping requirements i.e minimum gap around services of 50mm, and all internal areas of letterbox slabbed according to specification?

Have all fire rated walls been treated with correct tape and jointing method prior to skimming?

Are moisture areas such as shower rooms, bathrooms, etc. fitted with moisture resistant plasterboard?

If insulated drylining is required, as the correct insulation depth been installed and all plasterboard installed plumb prior to skimming?

Are all opening/reveals slabbed, plumb/level and square for skimming?

Have all joints of plasterboard been scrim taped and mechanical fixings in insulated plasterboard been primed prior to skimming?

Has the works been reviewed with skimmer prior to commencing, and any required bonding been highlighted?

Does the skimmer have adequate lighting in order to carry out the works to a high quality (REMEMBER YOU WONT SEE BAD SKIMMING UNTIL THE BUILDING IS PAINTED, THE MORE LIGHTING AND TIDIER THE SPACE IS THE BETTER THE SKIMMER WILL DO!)

Grey coat plaster should be installed 1-2 weeks before being skimmed to allow drying out, and all internal walls are to be scudded prior to grey coating.

Prior to external rendering, has the contractor went through sequence incl. scudding, scratch coating and final render coat?

If any steel members are applicable on external facade, have they been adequately fitted with concrete board for rendering?

Is there any requirement for crack mesh/reinforcement roll to be installed? (IF IN DOUBT ASK!)

Has soffit bead/trim been installed prior to plastering to ensure a high quality finish at soffitt level?

Has the treatment of external reveals and any feature been agreed with architect? Incl. reveals, bands, plinths, etc..

Please add clear photos of overall airtightness, plasterboard and skimming/plastering install? (Incl. scud and scratch coats)
