Quarterly Outside Grounds Audit

Are weeds and shrubs at least 18" from the building? Are grounds maintained in good repair?

Are the grounds free of litter/debris?

Are the grounds free of standing water?

Are premises free from harborages and breeding places for rodents, insects, etc.?

Is there equipment or supplies stored permanently around the outside of the perimeter? Is any equipment outside placed at least 18" from the building?

Is adequate drainage provided to avoid contamination of the facilities and products?

Does water drain away from the building so it does not enter during heavy rainfall and contaminate ingredients or product?

Are gutters free of debris and weeds?

Are pipes stored at least 20' from the processing facility? Are the pipes capped?

Is waste stored in appropriate containers and removed as scheduled? Is the trash compactor area maintained in good condition?

Is the offal area maintained in a good, sanitary condition?
