Personal Protective Equipment

  • Are all employees wearing hard hats, safety glasses, suitable work clothing and boots, high visibility clothing, and as necessary ear plugs?

  • Is all personal protective equipment free of damage and deterioration?

  • Is PPE readily available for all personnel including visitors?

  • Have employees who use respirators been medically cleared, trained and fit tested?

Electrical. Jan.-wh/Apr-gr/Jul-red/Oct-oran

  • Is there at least 3' clearance in front of electrical panel/breaker boxes?

  • Is electrical equipment and tools properly grounded or double insulated?

  • Are all electrical cords/plugs free form damage or deterioration?

  • Have all cords been inspected quarterly and marked accordingly?

  • Are all electrical cords protected from damage (vehicle traffic, sharp edges, etc.)?

  • Are GFCI's in use and tested?

Administration

  • Are daily JSA's being completed?

  • Are weekly safety meetings being conducted?
