Have you surveyed the exterior for trash, debris, broken glass, windows, etc?
Have you checked the ice machines and coolers to be in good working order?
Have you checked the air conditioning/heat for temperature, set thermostats?
Have you checked the reservation book for special functions and/or parties?
Have you checked the register system, run cash-out report to verify all daily readings are set at zero?
Have you checked the register tape in all imprinters in the kitchen, bar and guest check printers?
Do all lights function and are set at correct levels? (Replace bulbs if necessary)
Have all tables and chairs been set in proper place?
Have you checked in with the chef on duty?
Are you certain there are no kitchen, staffing, food or equipment problems?
Have you verified that all staff members on premise are punched in?
Have you read the Manager's Log Book - REACT?
Have you checked receiving clip-board (or file) for all deliveries scheduled for the day?
Have you confirmed banks are set-up from previous shifts?
Have you completed the bank audit, signed and kept the sheet in audit book?
Have you checked the floor for general cleanliness- closing shift cleaning duties?
