• The Risk and Safety Department is responsible for conducting the following Event Safety Checks to monitor the compliance of external parties to WHS legislative or Centre safety requirements during events. Checks should be conducted across both the Convention and Exhibition Centres.

  • Verify worker either by sighting certificate or checking the online system. Proof of identification should be sighted.
  • If a worker has not completed the induction, the worker is to be issued with an Interim Induction.
  • If there are any issues contact the EOM for the event immediately to address the issue with relevant parties.
