  • Are adequate numbers of fire wardens/marshals appointed and trained to ensure that suffice to wardens are always available to check that all areas of the premises are evacuated in the event of a fire, and that the relating information is passed to the building evacuation manager for onward transmission to attending fire officer?<br>Please list the names of the fire wardens.

  • Fire procedures are appropriate and rehearsed ( I.e. in fire drills)?<br>This should indicate and arrangements for evacuation of disabled people.

  • Is there a fire evacuation plan or poster displayed?

  • Are there any processes or hazards likely to detrimentally affect other tenants or common parts?

  • Are other duties in respect of fire precautions, required under the lease, are being satisfied?

  • Is there cooking equipment, are extract filters cleaned and changed regularly, and is there a contract in place for the deep cleaning of the duct work?( the tenant should be responsible for ensuring that the frequency of cleaning is adequate in relation to the amount of use and the extent of grease build up with in the ductwork) See guidance note 16 where possible seek photographic evidence.<br><br>A copy of the last service should be provided as evidence.<br><br><br><br><br><br><br>
