  • Did you see the 4ft rule being applied when you walked the customer journey - eye contact, acknowledged and approached?

  • Till queues across the store - are they being managed by a till coordinator and is the tilling SOP being followed?

  • Sample till point conversations - did you hear "give me 5"? Did the assistant write their name on the CSAT slip?

  • Did you hear the 'every till every time' message at the till banks and was there any up-selling involved in the transaction?

  • Customer toilets - are they clean and to an acceptable standard? Have they been checked hourly?

  • Are customer baskets and trollies available at both entrances to the store and across all BUs?

  • Are all iPads visible on the floor and are they being actively used?

  • Is the cafe fully stocked and the tables clean? Is someone monitoring the queue?

  • Is the ISB fully stocked and is a baker present? Is tasting available?

  • Are the fitting rooms appropriately manned? Is robust repro taking place?
