Tour the building advising of any fire exits and areas that are out of bounds or potential risks

Introduce to as many key staff as possible.

Explain the clocking in procedure for time workers and rota issue dates, salary staff must collect rotas.

Explain fire evacuation procedure and in particular their role in an evacuation

Go through all operational training - (opening, closing, all systems)

Issue copy of contact (within 4 weeks) and go through it explaining any areas they are unsure about: Get them to sign relevant part photocopy it and hand the photocopy to the employee

Obtain identification in form of Passport, ensure all workers have the legal status to work. Take picture of ID below if unsure please call HR
