  • Moveable Items - Homes for all moveable items are clearly defined. (Signage or Shadow Boxing).

  • Lighting - Lighting is sufficient for safe operation and identification of materials. Trailer lights are all functioning.

  • Areas along walls - Areas along walls are clear of debris and any other items unless in clearly designated locations.

  • Pedestrian Walkway - Walkway is clean, surface is in good condition and overhead barrier is free of debris.

  • Pedestrian Walkway - Angled structural beams and tops of lockers are free of dust accumulation.

  • Signage - Existing signage is in good condition and is sufficient to identify various storage locations, safety issues, and the homes of moveable items etc. within the area.

  • Dock Doors - Dock Plates and Doors are clean and operating properly, and paint is intact.

  • Racks - Racks are straight and organized. No damaged racks in warehouse.

  • Lunchroom - Fridge is free of aged items, appliances are operational, tables and counters are clean and TV is displaying current information.

  • Lockers - Locker tops are clean, surfaces are free of graffiti and stickers, and paint is in good condition.

  • Boxes in Warehouse - Boxes are stacked straight and organized, not crushed.

  • Racks - Bottom tier of racks is free of cardboard, strapping, stretch-wrap and other debris.

  • Unused tools, parts or equipment - Area is free of unused tools, equipment or parts - and free of those used by other departments.

  • Slip/Trip Hazards - No trip/slip hazards.

  • Racks/Bins/Cabinets/Furniture - All are clean, in good appearance, and being used for intended purpose.

  • Computers/Printers/Scanners & Related Wiring - Equipment is clean and appears to be operating properly. Cables/wires are well organized and secure.

  • Waste Removal - Standard Waste, Paper, Plastic/Bottle, and Compost bins are in proximity. Bins are clean and not overflowing.

  • Electrical Panels - Verify that nothing is store don top of panels, that they are secured and in good condition, and that there is 3' of clearance.

  • Floor - Floor appears clean and recently swept/mopped.
