Inspection Requirements

  • Has a pre-start meeting been conducted?

  • Pre-starts have been conducted on tyre handling equipment, forklift and LVs

  • Procedures related to the tasks planned for the day are current and available (up-to-date hard copy or access via IMS)

  • Office area neat and tidy; are walkways free of hazards?

  • Is housekeeping maintained to a high standard? Floors are clear of dirt, debris, parts and spills, benches clear for work?

  • Supplies of sanitising equipment readily available

  • Master Gauge calibrated and test log filled out?

  • Sufficient PPE available for scheduled tasks

  • Torque logbook filled out?

  • Workshop lighting is functional?

  • Is vehicle access unobstructed (including tyre handling equipment)?

  • Are tools stored correctly and in good condition? e.g. guarding in place

  • All airlines, connections, stop flow valves, whip checks are in good working order

  • The N2 (nitrogen) system has a purity of at least 97% at the generator or delivery line outlet

  • The N2 system is in good condition and free of any damage or leaks

  • 'Out-of-service' tooling is tagged, segregated and ready for despatch for repair or disposal

  • Jacks and stands are in good condition and stored appropriately?

  • Is all fire equipment in place and accessible? 1m clearance

  • Are tyres, rim components and goods adequately stored in their designated locations?

  • Lock-ring wraps are stored with spare rings and available for use

  • Are the emergency eyewash stations accessible and clean?

  • Designated barricading in place for isolating work area?
