    The weekly checklist below will assist you in keeping within the law by ensuring your vehicle is safe.
    However, on a daily basis before using a vehicle you should complete a visual check of:
    Tyres, wipers, lights, mirrors, seatbelts, security of your load and when safe to do so, check the brakes are working

Vehicle Checks

  • All tyres correctly inflated with sufficient tread (min 2mm)

  • All windows undamaged, clean and unobscured

  • All lights working correctly. (brake lights, side lights, headlights, indicators, number plate light).

  • Wipers and washers working effectively.

  • Seat belts working correctly and head restraints positioned correctly.

  • Brakes, incl handbreak working effectively.

  • Interior and exterior clean and tidy, free from 'rubbish'.

  • Report any damage or other faults that have occurred since the previous inspection.

  • Photos of damage or any other vehicle faults
