VF476 - Station Quality Inspection - Underbody Inspection

UNDERBODY INSPECTION

  • All nuts are fastened on to seat bolts, including drivers seat & ironing boards

  • Chassis number clean and legible and painted yellow

  • Front bumper support brackets are fitted and touch bumper

  • Wheel arch nuts are fitted and sealed

  • Tow pin is fitted, secured with cable tie and not sitting on the bumper

  • Footrest and driver's bag storage screws are sealed

  • Ensure all door fasteners have been fitted with M6 nuts and are tight

  • N/S Floor support is fitted and secured (Volvo Only)

  • Visual Check: Bolts on Steering column are torqued and paint verification marks.

  • BYD ONLY: Check wheel speed sensors and brake pad thickness sensors for cable breakages or damage

  • BYD ONLY: Check motors and reducers for signs of damage and oil leakage

  • BYD ONLY: Ensure metal surfaces are corrosion free and coated

  • BYD ONLY: Lift bus off the ground - check air and oil pipelines for damage or leakages.

SEALING BUS

  • No ingress of smoke through front during smoke test

  • All sealing is complete

  • Excess sealer has been removed

MUDFLAPS

  • Mudflaps fitted, level and secured

DRIVER'S SEAT

  • Drivers seat fitted and checked to operate correctly

  • Air is connected and sealed

ADR SPECIFIC CHECKS

  • Driver's seat fastening nuts have been marked as having the correct torque applied
