VF376 - Station Quality Inspection - Detailing

  • All stickers removed from interior-roof, side walls & windows.

  • Remove chinagraph from all internal surfaces.

  • Roof, side walls, ducting all wiped and clean.

  • Remove stickers, tape & chinagraph from A/C ducting

  • Spot clean ducting & wipe down

  • Under duct extrusion remove tape, remove chinagraph around hammers, lights & speakers.

  • Wipe down entire under duct extrusion.

  • Clean all marks & chinagraph from upper duct extrusion.

  • PVC trims to be brushed down

  • PVC window trims- remove chinagraph & excess sika from all window trims.

  • Windows & glass- remove chinagraph & stickers.

  • Clean all windows & glass with window cleaner ( take care when film is fitted to glass )

  • Side walls remove chinagraph & stickers.

  • Vacuum out seat rails.

  • Wipe down all side wall panels.

  • Clean all marks & chinagraph from seat rail & seat rail insert.

  • Clean all rear door rubbers.

  • Clean rear door frames.

  • Clean rear door poles.

  • Clean out rear door shelf plate & cover above rear door.

  • Clean all front door rubbers.

  • Clean all front door frames.

  • Clean all front door glass.

  • Clean front door poles.

  • Clean out front shelf plate & cover above door.

  • Clean & remove chinagraph from modesty poles.

  • Clean all panels, glass & crash pads on modesties.

  • Modesty glass (apply glass glow on prep)

  • Remove all protective tape from yellow or black floor moulds (and clean)

  • Remove all protective tape, swarf and marks from wheel chair ramp.

  • Refit protective tape to ramp when clean & dry.

  • Clean out all overhead lockers

  • Remove protective tape & masking tape from front and rear of seats.

  • Spot clean any sika or black marks from seats.

  • Vacuum all seat cushions & swabs.

  • Clean rear of seats & all seat frames.(take care when seats have stainless backs.)

  • Lock down rear seats.

  • Remove all tape ,stickers & sika from floor

  • Spot clean all stains & marks from floor

  • Mop floor with clean mop.

  • Shine & seal floor.

  • Clean and empty all bins & remove from plastic bags.

  • Remove all swarf & dust from dash console, then spot clean.

  • Seal and shine dash console.

  • Vacuum out drivers surround, electrical area.

  • Clean drivers surround.

  • Clean out drivers door & drop safe.

  • Clean steering wheel & steering column.

  • Remove all plastic from drivers seat.

  • Check all areas of drivers cab are clean.

  • Drivers cab (hand polish all painted areas)

  • Check all checker plate covers and floor hatches are free from sika,texta marks & animal fat.

  • Vacuum all desto areas (front, rear, side)

  • Clean all desto glass (front,rear,side)

  • Blow out engine trays & under all lift up panels. ( wear safety goggles when using blower)

  • Spot clean roof & remove masking tape from A/C pod and roof hatches.

  • High pressure wash & rinse roof.

  • Remove all tape, window labels and excess sika from windows

  • Carefully clean windows with dirt & swarf free brush then rinse.

  • Clean wheel arch rubbers, drip gutters, door rubbers, main beam & windscreen rubbers.

  • Open all lift up panels & access panels and remove swarf & rubbish.

  • High pressure wash & rinse front, back ,sides & rims.

  • Clean tyres & rejuvenate tyres. (if tyres contain overspray see paint shop for removal)

  • Check rear seats are locked.

  • Over head lockers to be locked.

  • Lock shelf plate covers.

  • All mirrors to be adjusted & cleaned.

  • Air to be switched on & front access panel locked.

  • Wipe down exterior mirrors.

  • Ramp cover fitted.

  • Spare Keys in Drivers locker (CDC)

  • E-Tag fitted to bus in correct location on Bus (CDC)

  • Security system download patch lead and left over items put in drivers locker (CDC)

  • Do not enter signs have been fitted.

  • Ensure VIN on chassis matches Volgren compliance plate
