Chassis Section Checklist

  • Check that the door aperture size is correct as per reference drawing. <br>Front Door: Height& Width<br>Centre Door: Height & Width

  • Check that the door aperture is square.

  • Check correct fasteners have been fitted. As per engineering drawing

  • Check that the door mechanism plates are installed in correct position and are fastened securely. ( Centre of door aperture ) Reference to general arrangement drawing if required.

Construction Section checklist for Inward Gliding Doors & Rapid sliding Door

  • Check both door shafts are installed correctly.

  • Front Doors

  • Check that the both door shafts are parallel with the body and aperture.

  • Front Doors

  • Check both door leafs are installed correctly.

  • Front Doors

  • Are both door leafs parallel and does the lip on the nosing rubber on the front leaf lie on the outside of the rear leaf. Check the clearance between the aperture side and the door leafs. Check that the door leafs are square in the aperture. If not adjust the doors. See VENTURA door installation guide.

  • Front Doors

  • Check that the door leafs are installed correctly. Is the outside of door leafs up against the aperture seal when doors are closed.

  • Front Doors

  • Check that the top of the door leafs on outside of bus are in line with the profile of the bus. If not adjusted. See VENTURA door installation guide.

  • Check aperture seal if fitted correctly.

  • Are the sensitive edge wires in a non-strained and free of pinching when the doors are opened & closed.

  • Check power supply. Check door leafs are moving smoothly open / closed. Check for any obstructions (loose parts, wiring or tubes) Check guiding brackets run smoothly through the guiding rail. Check door leafs are perpendicular with step edge. Check the pneumatic system (if applicable) for leakage during opening & closing.

  • Check the upper door arm is mounted correctly. See VENTURA door installation guide.
