Safety

  • Observed personnel without PPE? (Hi Viz, Ear Defender, Safety Footwear)

Pre-Arrival Stand

  • Is the Loading Team on stand in sufficient time for the arrival briefing?

  • Does the Loading Supervisor have the correct copy of the CPM?

  • Was unsecured equipment observed pointing at aircraft?

  • Is FOD check carried out by the ( TCO and Load Supervisor)?

  • Was the airbridge checked for serviceability?

  • Is airbridge or steps movement area clear of vehicles and equipment?

  • Is GPU free of FOD and in correct position?

Arrival-Stand

  • Are crew properly positioned ready for arrival, with working wands and using proper hands signal?

  • Do personnel stay clear of the aircraft until the aircraft has stopped, engines have shut down and anti-collision beacons have been switched off?

  • If an inoperative APU, were engineers present on stand and communication established with flight deck via the headset?

Standard Arrival- Park brake to remain set for the duration of the turnaround

  • Is the nose wheel chocked first and thumbs up given to the TCO?

  • Are chocks being used properly?

  • Were cones positioned correctly around the aircraft for this aircraft type?

  • Arrival walk around conducted by Load Supervisor?

  • Was a 'thumbs up' given prior to any equipment being attached to the aircraft?

  • Was a Banksman used for all equipment and vehicles approaching the aircraft or reversing from it?

  • Are side guide rails fully stowed on all equipment prior to engagement with the aircraft?

  • Were stabilizers and/or chocks used on Ramp equipment?

  • Were guard rails/ safety gates deployed in the correct manner?

Non-Standard Arrival-A346 Hot brakes- Park brake to be released

  • Did anyone approach the aircraft until thumbs up received from an engineer?

Aircraft Offload

  • Are baby buggies or wheelchairs required to be taken to the aircraft door, done so using the airbridge service stairs?

  • Damaged dollies being used?

  • Are agents observed walking between dollies/carts?

  • Did you witness anyone driving under the aircraft wings during the offload?

  • Do you witness unsafe practice of driving GSE around the aircraft?

  • Are any discrepancies in the CPM immediately reported to the TCO?

  • Was an internal damage check completed by the Loading Supervisor including compartment 5?

  • Are any aircraft cabin doors left open without steps or suitable ground equipment in place?

  • Are all hold doors closed after offload complete ?

  • GSE staged after use?

GROs

  • GRO raised where applicable?
