  • Water Temperature Tests: Hot & Cold running water provided to all outlets must be maintained at temperatures which ensure that hygiene and health & safety requirements are met.
    Hot Must be above 50°C, but below 60°C - Cold Must be below 20°C Testing Procedure : The Maintenance team should test temperatures at sentinel points including furthest from source, closest to source, and a few outlets in between. All water tank temperatures must be recorded. Mains Water Supply temperature into the hotel must be recorded. Record findings on this Monthly Sentinel Hot & Cold Water Temperatures audit. Temperature check should be carried out after continuously running water through the outlet for 1 minute for both hot and cold services. Records of these temperatures should be kept and filed by the Hotel Manager or Maintenance Manager and be available for inspection as required by an authorized body.
