Weekly Company Vehicle Checklist - All

Are the windscreens/windows clean, clear of obstruction, dirt and debris?

Are any windscreens/windows/mirrors chipped or cracked or out of alignment?

Do the wipers work effectively and are they in a good condition?

Are the washers operational and do they work correctly?

Is the washer fluid topped up?

Are the lights clean and free from debris and dirt build-up?

Are the number plates visible and free from debris and dirt build-up?

Are all lights working correctly?

Are all indicators working correctly?

Are all lense/lamp covers present and the correct colour?

Are any dashboard warning lights on?

What is the error?

Does the foot brake/pedal work correctly without any noises?

Does the hand/parking brake work correctly without any excess travel?

Are all tyres sufficiently inflated?

Are all tyres above the minimum tread depth of 1.6mm?

Are there any deep cuts, nails/debris in sidewall of tyres?

Is cord visible anywhere on tyre?

Are all wheel-nuts and hub caps present, secure and scuff free?

Do horns work when operated?

Is the steering wheel positioned correctly?

Does the steering wheel have excessive play?

Is the steering wheel clean and free from breaks/tears?

Are the seats secure, clean and free from cuts, rips, tears and damage?

Are seatbelts operating correctly and clean and free from cuts, tears, rips and damage?

Do all doors shut properly and are secure when closed?

Is there any damage to the bodywork?

Are any body panels loose or in danger of falling off?

Is the vehicle clean and free from debris and dirt build-up?

Is the exhaust securely fitted?

Is the exhaust emitting excessive amounts of smoke or making loud noises?
