  • • Lobby displays and pallet drops are right item, right price, crisp, and signed • Walk “out of department” tie-in displays (e.g., vanilla wafers in Produce) • Combo Loco end caps merchandised together on highest traffic areas; buy item on the left and free item on the right; coupons attached to the buy item • Meal Deal displays contain only meal deal items, signed, and full • All flex space perimeter merchandise high grossing items that will turn; use symbol to determine gross profit of displayed items • Tie in end caps with extra merchandising opportunities • Look for symmetry (i.e., height, signs, space between displays) • Validate merchandising plan weekly on ad rollout (Wednesday) • Planned Display Program (PDP) checked for compliance throughout all departments • Data leveraged to drive decision making • Dairy and Frozen end caps merchandised according to SOPs • All Dairy shelf stock pulled forward creating a full appearance per SOP • All displays merchandised for seasonality, weather forecast, events, etc. • Riser backstock neat, clean, and organized • Yellow coupons maintained on all relevant product • All DSD racks clean and well merchandised • Aisle clipstrips (e.g., Theis) and powerpanels maintained
