INSPECTION

  • Has the SWMS / PRA for Pressure Vessels been signed by all personnel on site for transferring binder to / from ISO Tankers

  • Has the daily JobSTART been completed and communicated to workers

  • Lime / Cement tanker truck has clear access to working area

  • Has a PreSTART been conducted on the tank and compressor

  • Does the ISO tanker have a current inspection certificate

  • Are warning and operation signs clearly visible

  • Are whip-checks fitted to the compressor and product transfer hoses

  • Are hoses and fittings in good condition (e.g. no tears / cracks, hose clamps in good condition etc)

  • Are safety bump locks for camlocks available for compressor and product transfer hoses and used during product transfer

  • Is suitable PPE available and being worn by all personnel?

  • Are Cement / Lime hoses appropriately positioned and secured agains damage when pumping?

  • Lime / Cement collected in filter sock to suppress dust and excess product approprately disposed of?

  • Waste Cement / Lime placed in designated area as instructed by supervisor/manager as per client requirements

  • Are couplings in good order and correctly fitted (all couplings must be secured using crimp clamps, bolt-on clamps are no longer fit for purpose)

  • If a pressurised tanker is left unattended, the pressure is vented and vent ports left open
