Monitoring Procedure: 1. Visual inspection of unit gauge 2. Internal air temperature taken using a hand held thermometer

  • Frequency: 1. 2 times a day
    2. Once a day

  • Critical Limits: Chilled: T<+8oC
    Frozen: T<-18oC Lean Rotation- 20°C to 24°C (68°F to 75°F).

  • Correction Action: Remove stocks to a chiller/freezer that operates correctly, as soon as possible. Notify Manager and/or engineer. If chilled products are kept for more than 4 hours in temperatures above the specified limits, then discard. If frozen products are kept for more than 4 hours in temperatures above the specified limits, then keep thawing and use as appropriate. Do not freeze products again
