  • Are the ramp team on stand before arrival, are the team wearing the appropriate PPE?<br>Has a FOD inspection been carried out prior to aircraft arrival?

  • Is the stand clear of GSE and are engines switched off and parking brake applied?

  • Are the aircraft engines spooled down and anti-collision beacons off before any of the team approach the aircraft?

  • Has the aircraft been chocked and coned as per airline requirements?<br>Was the aircraft chocked and coned correctly before anyone else or any equipment approached the aircraft?

  • Have the ramp team agents operating equipment check the area around the fuselage for damage before positioning the equipment?

  • Has equipment approached the aircraft at the appropriate speed and have brake tests been performed as per the airline requirement?

  • Are passenger steps correctly positioned with stabilisers deployed, pawl locks fully extended in locked position and the hydraulics depressurised to allow the full weight of the steps to rest on the locks?

  • If required is a PIG used and in position before passenger disembarkation and whilst on the ramp are passengers guided and supervised by the dispatcher and airside agents?

  • Is the equipment free from FOD including inside of the vehicles?

  • Is all equipment including baggage trailers and baggage dollies positioned more than 6ft/2m away from the aircraft?

  • Is the cabin lift positioned and operated correctly with safety guard rails in place?

  • Are unattended vehicles seen with engines switched off?

  • Is the GSE being used serviceable?

  • Do ramp agents avoid driving under wings, tails and fuselage. Do the ramp agents drive at appropriate speeds and are doors closed?

  • Is a clear exit route maintained for the fueler vehicle at all times?

  • Does the team leader have the offload instructions and is the inbound load restrained correctly. Does the inbound LDM match the actual loading?

  • Have all holds been checked including those reported as being empty and does the head loader have a copy of the LIRF before loading commences?

  • Are the appropriate manual handling techniques used by all staff during the handling of baggage and cargo?

  • Did the dispatcher have all relevant manifests and flight paperwork prior to door closure including signed bingo cards?

  • Is all equipment removed from the aircraft correctly using a banksman where needed?

  • Were the correct cabin door closure procedures used?

  • Is an aircraft pre-departure check carried out correctly and after all equipment has been removed? Was all equipment removed except pushback tug before cones were removed?

  • Is the push back and tow bar disconnection correct? was a chock placed forward of the nose wheel before disconnection of the towbar? Was the tug completely clear of the aircraft before the clear to taxi signal was given to the flight crew?

  • Is any third party activity observed on the ramp free from unsafe practice?
