General Manager Focuses

Have you seen a scrum or huddle happening today?

GM has displayed the Relevant focus board in the back office have the correct logo and all are upto date for people, service & standards, product & finance (FTE Board)

Is this area convenient? Are the time critical things fully functional?

Staff Recognition - evidence of employee of the month on display for staff, must have staff photo and reason for nomination as being most loved employee for the previous month.

Appearance and uniform - all staff wearing correct name badge. All staff dressed professionally, clean shaven, uniform clean and in good repair. Good personal grooming.

Golden Rule poster is displayed for all staff.

Temperature & ventilation - the area is the correct temperature and humidity and is maintained at a comfortable level (as a guide 22ºC

Tea & coffee provided in the staff room & Oomph uugs available for the team.

Staff Oomph & recognition for excellent Oomph is visable on boards and communicated to the teams.

Deep Dive, member feedback and comments board is upto date and being used daily and actions
being recorded. Other office noticeboards are in use and up to date (Sales Office)

Active Plan systems and checks completed, check for the daily tell us to our face is completed in full
for 3 members each day. There is evident all HOD's have walked the club today?

All financial and membership related paperwork is securly locked away (complies with data
protection policy)!

Club Website page is up to date, fresh, correct and accurate.

How are we communicating to guests, members and our team?

Staff room is the very best example of our Virgin ACTIVENESS

Staff Toilet - is clean, tidy & pleasant smelling

Staff room - The basic requirements for staff room is available & in good working condition.
Furniture, lights, walls & tiles are in good state of repair

Staff room - The room is clean, tidy & pleasant smelling. The carpet & surfaces are clean. The cutlery/crockery is clean and personal affects are not left lying around. Appears professional but fun.

Other internal communication - Activeness posters, company mission, staff survey action plan,
company memos, internal vacancies, club performance, meetings follow up, etc.

Offices - General office, sales office & other offices (including the Maintenance workshop) are neatly presented & limited to displaying brand approved marketing material.

Store Rooms - are used for there intended purpose and look neat and is locked when not in use.

Fix It (VA69 only) - is updated & signed off daily by the Maintenance team

Plant rooms and fire exits - plant rooms floors are locked, painted, clean & clear from obstructions. All fire exits are cleared and allows easy exit. All fire exit doors are fully functional & safe

All clocks are to the correct time throughout the club
