PRE -ARRIVAL PREPARATIONS.

  • 1/Are personnel carrying out the task competent and fit for duty

  • 2/ Is all required tooling and equipment to carry out the installation of anchors at hand

  • 3/ Are electrical tools test tagged and ready for use

  • 4/ SWMS read and signed by all workers involved

  • 5/ Drill locations marked out

  • 6/ Has the concrete been scanned for steel or electrical cabling

  • 7/ Has an exclusion zone been created and enforced

  • 8/ Product safety data and instructions for use are on hand for the chemical anchors

  • 9/ All appropriate PPE is on hand and in good condition

  • Drilling and fixing
  • 1/ has the hole been drilled to the correct depth and diameter?

  • 2/ Has the hole been cleared of dust/debris?

  • 3/ has the chemical fixing agent been inserted as per the manufacturers guidelines?

  • 4/ Has the anchor been inserted correctly to the correct depth

  • 5/ Return visit required to ensure anchor has set correctly

  • 6/ Pull test or Engineer sign off required prior to using the anchor

  • Has client been notified?
