Procedure

  • Divide the number of floor drains to be cleaned on a daily basis for each week

  • Dry pick-up all scraps and debris in and around floor drains

  • Remove the gates from the drains and place on the floor neartby

  • Thoroughly pre-rinse the drains and surrounding area with a pressure washer or rinse hose

  • Apply the cleaner in and around the drains and gates through a sprayer using FS foam-ease

  • Allow detergent to stand for 10-15 mins using this time to manually scrub with a drain brush the drains and gates

  • Thoroughly rinse the cleaner from the grates, drains and surrounding area making sure to rinse underside surfaces

  • Inspect the floor drains, grates and entire area and correct any discrepancies at this time

  • On a daily basis, sanitize all the drains, grates and entire area using 200ppm and allow to air dry. On a weekly basis, sanitize the drains at 800ppm using a designated sprayer and allow to air dry

  • Return all cleaning aids, hoses, and detergents to proper storage areas
