Before Belt is Fitted

  • Bolt Length Correct & Bolts Tight

  • Impact Section in correct position (See drawing) All bolts tight, and Spacing correct

  • Eye bolts fitted for emergency stop pull cords (Picking Station)

  • If a Magnet Section is applicable check all relative parts are Stainless Steel as per drawing

  • Drive drum bench checked by QC prior to installation

  • Drive drum set to correct level

  • Conveyor Belt and joint quality / Width is correct

  • Bearing grub screws torqued and marked (See table)

  • Insert photographs of Impact Sections and Belt Support Plates

  • Please sign

QC Check Before Belt is Fitted

  • Impact section

  • Magnet section

  • Drive drum bench and drum taper locks

  • Drums are level with impact bars or belt supports

  • Knee joint snub drum alignment with load roller correct

  • Bearing grub screws torqued and marked

  • Please sign

QC Belt Check

  • Conveyor Belt and joint quality / Width is correct

  • If chevron belt, are they going the correct way

  • Check belt direction- Inside joint line to drive drum first

  • Safety and ID Stickers positioned - photograph both sides

  • Please sign

After Belt is Fitted

  • Drive motor / gearbox on correct side of the conveyor

  • Gearbox retaining washer and safety bolt fitted and tightened

  • Gearbox fitted in the correct position for the conveyor angle

  • Check Belt tension / Enough adjustment

  • Return rollers fitted and locked

  • All skirting rubbers fitted as per measurement (90mm)

  • All bolts correct length and tight (See drawing)

  • Deflector kit fitted

  • Belt scraper fitted in correct position / Tensioned

  • Auto greasers fitted / Setting is zero at this time

Before Running Conveyor

  • All nip point guards are fitted

Conveyor Running inc. QC

  • Belt alignment correct on drive / tail drums and in middle of conveyor

  • There are no abnormal noises / vibrations whilst running

  • Motor temperature / movement is within acceptable limits

  • Skirting rubbers are not sticking to the belt / not too tight

  • Serial No. plate is fitted / Information correct / correct position
