- check log out from previous night, follow up with manger from the morning, attend to any issues relating, people, environmental.
- review roster, events, calendar, and reservation book and make floor plans.
- ensure all reservations are in hostess QSR
- bathroom check
- set vibe (adjust lights, music and TVs as needed).
- adjust all shades as needed.
- ensure all tables are back and aligned under lights
- ensure patio tables are set up properly (blanket on seat 1, orange pillow on seat 2, nothing on seat 3, black and white pillow on seat 4.)
- review bar setup and stock for the evening
- bar cooler check
- environment walk inside and outside entire restaurant
- check in with bartender and sous check to see if there are any counts/86’d items
- ensure preshift board is up to date
- make sure all staff is changed and ready for their shifts
- do preshift at 445
