  • All dashboard instruments gauges and other warning devices operating

  • Tax, insurance, and transport discs are present and valid. Number plate is clearly visible

  • Free from visible oil leaks

  • Fuel tank & cap secure and no leaks

  • Vehicle access, doors, steps and bodywork in good condition

  • Exhaust secure with no excess noise or smoke

  • Brakes Operating Correctly. ABS/EBS warning lights off

  • Crane Attachment - free from visible damage (look for cracked of bent components)

  • Hydraulic system free from leaks, damaged hoses, or loose connections.

  • Crane's boom, jib, and any extension sections are free from signs of wear, corrosion, or structural damage.

  • Are all safety decals and warning signs present and legible?

  • Are wire ropes, chains, or slings free from visible damage?

  • Is the hook and latch mechanisms in good working condition?

  • Test the operation of the crane through its full range of motion, including lifting and extending/retracting the boom.

  • Ensure that safety features like outriggers/stabilizers are in good working condition, if applicable.

  • Inspect the emergency stop button or switch to ensure it is easily accessible and functional

  • Check the functioning of safety devices, such as overload protection systems and anti-two block devices, if applicable.

  • RECORD BELOW ANY ACCIDENT HOWEVER SMALL. VEHICLE DEFECTS OR IRREGULARITIES. VEHICLE DEFECTS MUST ALSO BE REPORTED TO THE TRANSPORT MANAGER
