PCI employees are required to have escape respirators on there person at all times while in the tank farm. PCI will have a sniffer on and sniff each tank before entering. If a detection of a gas is present, plant must clear smell and the tank will be re-inspected for clearance. Hole watch will also be in charge of the monitoring of the tank and be aware of all exit and muster points. If a gas is detected while working all employees must take out escape respirators for use while exiting area to muster point. Alcon EMS will then be notified immediately after escape from area.
