Disclaimer & Notice of Process Enforcement

  • Disclaimer: The initiation of the application and permitting process does NOT authorize any construction action other than properly permitted demolition. All applicable permits are required to be properly posted on site in a location readily apparent and accessible to inspectors. Violations of this process will warrant additional enforcement, up to and possibly including enforcement of IFC section 110.4 Violations, a misdemeanor charge punishable by a fine of $2,650 in accordance with section 1.20.020 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park, and a fine by Larimer County of $1,000 or imprisonment as permitted by law. Each day that a violation continues after due notice is given shall be a separate offense. Certificates of Occupancy or Final Approvals for Existing Buildings Under Major Renovation issued in violation of this process may be revoked (IBC 111.4)
