Inspection and system handover

Brackets

  • Is the correct bracket used?

Anchor bolts

Gasket inspection

Galvanised inspection

  • Check for out-of-tolerance concrete

  • Check for sharp edges and notch if necessary

  • All galvanised sheets installed as per provided drawings?

  • Are galvanized sheets installed within specified tolerances?

  • Are the correct fixings used and secured as per provided drawings?

  • Check galvanised sheet/concrete are clean and dry before sealing!

  • Are all edges sealed?

EPDM FA/I inspection

  • Check EPDM for tears and holes

  • Check for sharp edges (galv /alu corners, insulation nails etc.)

  • Check temperature and record for application. If necessary ensure heater is being used.

  • Check the application surface is dry and clean before Novoproof Kleber FA/I application?

  • Check the EPDM surface is dry and clean before Novoproof Kleber FA/I application?

  • Is Kleber FA/I fully applied to the sealing surface with a spatula and at the correct width? (40~60mm)

  • Is the EPDM notched with the right tools as per drawings?

  • Once the EPDM temporary fix to the surface is roller used to ensure full sealing?

  • Check EPDM interior/exterior corners if sealed properly.

Internal-External rockwool inspection

  • Rockwool stick pins quantity and distribution installed as per approved drawings?

  • Is the concrete surface dry?

  • Is rockwool dry?

  • After installation of rockwool: are the all the stick pins retaining washers engaged?

  • After installation of rockwool: are all the stick pins bend in order to not penetrate EPDM?

  • After installation of rockwool: are all the gaps covered?

  • Is rockwool free from damages?

Copings and flashings inspection

  • Obtain and check site datums, grids and setting out points

  • Have the coping/flashing elements been checked for scratches, and dents?

  • Are coping/flashing elements installed within specified tolerances?

  • Are the correct fixings used as per provided drawings?

  • Are the gaps between coping/flashing elements within the specified tolerances?

  • Mastic works done?

Glass inspection

  • Are glass panes compliant with manufacturers specifications?

  • Manufacturer's stamp in the correct position?

  • Damaged glass?

  • Are glass panes installed within the specified tolerances?

  • All toggles/pressure plates engaged?

  • Even distribution of glass over glazing shoes/glazing bead?

Spandrel area

Back panel inspection

  • Are back panes fixed and secure as per drawings provided ?

  • All the gaps around notched area closed?

  • Mastic works completed inside of back panel?

Fins inspection

  • Are the fin elements manufactured as per drawings provided?

  • Have the fin elements been checked for damages?

  • Are the correct fixings used and secured as per provided drawings?

  • Are fins installed within specified tolerances?

SFS wall inspection

SFS substructure assembly

  • Obtain and check site datums, grids and setting out points

  • Fixings in correct position

  • Studs/brackets fixed as per provided drawings

  • Correct type and number screws, bolts as per drawings

Cement boards

  • CC Boards fixed

  • Screws grab into SFS structure?

  • Screws at correct centres in CC Boards

  • Are all gaps between cement boards even to allow joint movement?

  • Are gaps filled with mastic?

  • Is mastic covered by movement tape DAFA?

EPDM

  • Check EPDM for tears and holes.

  • Check the EPDM surface is dry and clean before Novoproof Kleber FA/I (Flexbond Plus) application?

  • Is Kleber FA (Flexbond Plus) fully applied to the sealing surface with a spatula and at the correct width? (80~100mm)

  • Check EPDM interior/exteriors corners if sealed properly.

Rockwool

  • Is rockwool dry?

  • Rockwool installed as per provided drawings

  • After installation of rockwool: are all the gaps covered?

  • Is rockwool firestop free from damages?

GRC inspection

  • Are GRC panels manufactured as per drawings provided?

  • Check for damages!

  • Are GRC panels installed within the specified tolerances?

  • Are GRC panes fixed and secure as per drawings provided ?

Areas where firestop/rockwool is visible

  • Is OBEX strip installed on mineral wool at joint area?

Sub-frame inspection

  • Obtain and check site datums, grids and setting out points

  • Check subframe to be free of manufacturer's defects

Doors inspection
