Fiji Airways Arrival Inspection

Pre-Arrival

  • Staff meeting arriving flight are well briefed of any short connections, PRMs, gate delivery mobility aids, transfer/transit pax, UM etc.)

  • Jet Bridge is clean and has been preposition to meet arriving aircraft type.

  • The disembarkation route has been secured for arriving guest.

  • Staff operating Jet bridge/aircraft door are competent and authorized.

On Arrival

  • Guest are being escorted from the aircraft through safe and secure route to terminal building?

  • If disembarking through tarmac, guest were being monitored & assisted while on ramp?

  • If disembarking through tarmac, guest were prevented from using personal handheld devices

  • Upon arrival, all guest are informed of baggage carousel and MAAS to identify themselves to ground staff.

  • ‘Baggage Claim’ announcements are made in arrival terminal and Flight number displayed at baggage delivery belt.

  • In case of transfers, transfer baggage reconciliation is carried out and any discrepancy reported and guest informed

  • Competent baggage staff is present in baggage collection area to handle any missing/damage baggage related queries for arrival flight.

  • If expecting delay in baggage delivery, all guest are informed of delay and expected baggage arrival time

Post Arrival

  • All records pertaining to arrival flight is filed.
