Butler - Offering to unpack

  • Asking the guest to do the unpacking service

  • Enough hanger to be ready for the unpacking

  • Calling the BO to inform Butler coordinator /Manager he/she is doing the unpacking for the respective room.

  • The proper area for putting the guest items:

  • Cloth on the wardrobe

  • Shirt on the wardrobe

  • Suite to be hanged

  • Folded items in the top shelf on the ward robe

  • Medicine to be beside the phone in the turn down side bed

  • Toiletry bag placed in the bathroom unopened (razor, shaving cream,tooth brush, tooth paste etc.)

  • Under short or underwear to be put in the drawer beside the right bed side

  • Should leave the bed table drawer slightly open

Service Standard

  • Timing for asking to doing the unpacking

  • Guest property and confidentiality

  • Whatever is seen inside the guest room is between the guest and Butler

  • Do not remove the guest things from the room without the guest permission

  • Asking the guest for any special request

  • The butler must set aside items that clearly need pressing

  • All clothes to be put away neatly
