Service Standard

  • Butler must act as the guest personal valet services.

  • Laundry /dry cleaning processed and returned to guests suite at appropriate time

  • Pressing and minor repairs to be complete according to the guest needs.

  • Any special information that will be used later on the next visit should be entered as soon as possible in the guest history

  • Always inform the guest when the items will be returned

  • Guest must be informed of service not provided at the laundry such as dry cleaning

Operating Sequence

  • Collect dirty laundry and clothes for dry cleaning from the guest

  • Separate the laundry / dry cleaning slip

  • Check the list is complete and accurate

  • a) Guest name

  • b) Room number

  • c) Each garment and amount

  • d) Special request

  • e) Timing for deliver

  • f) Type of services (express, normal wash and dry)

  • Place garments in laundry bag with the copy of laundry slip

  • Update the laundry information in your log book

  • When you pick up the laundry /dry clean from the laundry check the following:

  • a) Check the retained list or log book any instructions on delivery

  • b) Check the retained copy of laundry list that all the laundry is present on time and correct.

  • c) Check room status before delivering items to room

  • d) Hanging items place in the wardrobe

  • e) Folded items place at end of bed
