Weekly checklist

  • Are all sanitisation records up to date and completed for the previous week

  • Has the water filter been changed and the records been completed for the previous week

  • Have the guard check sheets up to date and completed for the last week

  • Are all mixers free from debris and clean unless in use

  • Are spill kits in place and complete

  • Are all cleaning records up to date and complete for the last week

  • Are all areas above mixers free from dust and debris

  • Are records for drums and IBCs for sanitisation completed

  • Are all hoses off the floor, clean and in the racking provided

  • Are all eye wash stations complete with a minimum of one bottle

  • Are all First Aid kits in place and have required pieces of equipment

  • Are all persons wearing the correct PPE including glasses and beard snoods

  • Have all bins been cleared and are free from rubbish

  • Are there any items which may slips trip's or falls from height

  • Are all EFK units in good working order and on

  • Are all bait boxes in place

  • Are all drums and IBCs stored correctly with no risk of contamination of the water course

  • Is the sump under the sink covered and clean

  • Is the safety shower accessible

  • Is the safety shower in good working order

  • Has the LEV extraction unit been cleaned and checked in the last month

  • Are there any other issues which need to be raised with the department manager

  • Are there any guards which have been removed?

  • Are the areas underneath the mixers clean and clear of any build up of oil and debris
