GENERAL

PRE-POUR

  • Ensure boundary pegs & pins identified

  • Trench width & depth excavated as per footing plan/report

  • Ensure correct boundary offsets/setbacks are as per signed civil plan and architectural plan

  • Install flexi conduit for island kitchen cupboards

  • Install earth stake in the incorrect location

  • Check power conduit & stormwater sleeve ordered/installed

  • Ensure termite protection has been installed

  • Ensure site is bunted off while trenches are open

POST-POUR

  • Check if upstand required

  • Check requirements for rainwater tank, hot water service & A/C Pads

  • Check for bond breaker/separation between slabs

  • Check slab dimensions per footing plan and architectural plans

  • Ensure the shower areas are level (set down 50mm)

  • Ensure porch is finished appropriately

  • Slab to be smooth & level with no more than +/- 5mm deviated over 3mm

  • Roller door rebates must be straight, level and correct

  • Strip footings to be 250mm below FFL or as per footing report

  • Strip and/or pad must allow for post or finished pier/column to be adequately and fully supported.

  • Ensure plumbing pipework and conduits are plumb during and after pour

  • Ensure there is no blowout/overpour at any proposed service location

  • Excess concrete is contained on right hand side and broken up (ensure concrete pump is not washed out on neighbouring properties)

  • Ensure no trip hazards and starter bars are capped for safety

  • Site to be left clean and tidy
