Security Team Daily Routines (Think 10)

1. Secure the Store Perimeter.<br><br>Seal check complete (minimum 2 a day). Back gate locked when not in use. Back areas checked for grazing and theft. (Dotcom, bakery, chillers, cleaners cupboard, warehouse)

2. Using Our Secure Lock Ups.<br><br>All locked at all times including meat cages/ keys signed out/ authorised list up to date and displayed / no unauthorised colleagues in lock ups

3. Controlling Waste Procedures.<br><br>Waste cage locked at all times / Manager holds key / only manager to dispose of waste & waste prints must be checked, signed and file daily.

4. Ensuring Key Control is followed.<br><br>All keys are signed in and out in RP32, Daily key audit is completed. authorised key holder lists available to review. Any missing keys investigated. Keys to be signed between holders.

5. Product protection Healthcheck and EAS.<br><br>Healthcheck completed, next steps issued, Store to be green (over 90%) by midday. Guards attend Team. EAS log completed daily and test completed. Issues fed back to front end.

6. Controlling Our Most Vulnerable Areas.<br><br>CCTV is in working order, fitting rooms controlled, security carry out patrols, POS not obstructing CCTV.

7. Managing Checkouts Opposite High Value Areas.<br><br>Tills opposite high value areas are manned, checkouts gates are locked, detaggers are locked on tills not in use.

8. Ensuring All Visitors Sign In and Wear A Badge.<br><br>All visitors, contractor, reps sign in and out, visitors are challenged in back areas, all visitors wear a badge, visitor badges should be tagged and reconciled daily.

9. Ensuring Guards Always Provide An Alert Presence and provide great service. <br><br>Guards not stood at lecturn unless monitoring suspects or reviewing target. Guards have radios, guards know the top 3 dashboard lines, guards reflect WGLL for transforming guarding.

10. Incident Reporting.<br><br>All incidents are reported within 48 hours, Civil best recovery issued when offender meets criteria. (Over 18, under 65, and of sound mind, details verified, target incidents logged correctly.

11. Carrying Out Regular Searches.<br><br>Daily Searches take place, days and night to complete searches, searches take place at varying times, cars and lockers included.
