  • I understand that all check sheets are mainly made for side work and not for the order of cuts. I also understand that depending on the pace of the restaurant and sections, I will have to be flexible and stay longer or shorter than my expectations.

Pre-Rush Duties

Arrival

  • Are you properly dressed, clean, and ready for work?

  • Do you have a minimum of 5 working pens?

  • Do you have a minimum of $25 colored down in your bank?

  • Did you clock in right at the scheduled time?

  • I have started ice tea and coffee brewing.

Opening the Dining Room

  • I have put all chairs down.

  • I made sure there are clean drinks menus, sharpened pencils, silverware on tables.

  • I have wiped down all the drink menus and made sure they are not missing pages including the bar and host stations.

  • I measured tables to make sure they are 50 and 35 inches (dining), 50 and 25 (bar).

  • I wiped off booth seats and all drink menus.

  • I cleaned the front and patio door windows.

  • I did the Sports Board.

Opening the Patio

  • I have made sure the patio is unlocked before 11am and I organized it to match the server map.

  • I have swept the entire patio and front sidewalk up to the street.

  • I have wiped down all patio tables, chairs and railings.

  • I have organized the patio tables and chairs straight and lined up all umbrellas in one line.

  • Is the weather nice enough that the patio will sit today?

  • I have put out the umbrellas and stands and have opened them up.

  • I have NOT put out the umbrellas or stands but have kept them stored in the shed.

Opening the Server Station, Host Stand, & Bar

  • I have put sani water and towels at the host, bar and expo.

  • I have set out 3 water, 2 iced tea pitchers at the host stand.

  • I have brought a lemonade and ice tea pitcher to the bar.

  • I have brought the ice to the bar.

  • I have laid out and swept the mats in the lobby room.

  • I have put together the nozzles on the Pepsi machine. The soda drain is clean.

  • I have cut and placed lemons on ice in the server station.

  • I have made enough lemonade according to the stickers on the pepsi cooler doors.

Detailing the Floor

  • I have cleaned all high chairs and boosters.

  • I have put wet signs if the floors are wet.

  • I made sure all the blinds are open and straight.

  • I have checked the bathrooms to make sure they are clean, stocked and lights are not missing.

Post-Rush Duties

At Cut

  • I have cleaned and set up all unsat tables, chairs and booths. I swept my section.

  • I have cleaned and stocked the bathrooms.

  • I have ran all trays through the dish washer.

  • I have done part of the Deep Cleaning List.

  • I have rolled a pan of silverware.
