Probe Check

  • You should check your thermometer's at least once per week to ensure that it is accurate. This is called calibration. To check your thermometer is accurate for operation and maintained.

  • Low temperatures: Place tip of thermometer probe into crushed ice with a little water - wait for the display to stabilise then measure reading (it should be between -0.5° C and +0.5° C)
