There is a pre-start book located in the plant

All warning decals in place and in clearly readable condition

Windows clean, not cracked, and provide clear vision

Isolation switch in place and working correctly

Access steps and ladders intact and provide safe access

Seat belt undamaged and in the correct position

Operation safety lever in place and working correctly

Cabin seat is secure and undamaged

Floor of cabin is in good condition and free of obstacles

Operation mirrors are in place, undamaged, and well positioned

Safety lights including flashing light in good working order

Movement and reversing alarms are fully operational

Safety lock is in place and operational

Emergency Stop inside and outside of cab

Condition of all wheels and undercarriage is acceptable.

Radiator appears clear for air flow and no blockages found

Radiator cap in good working order and no signs of leakage

Battery is in good condition and is secured

Tracks are in good condition and are tensioned

No oil leaks emanating from under the machine

Fully automatic hitch. If applicable, safety pin in place

No evidence of work equipment cylinder oil leaks

Hydraulic hose in good working conditions and no oil leaks

Outer body panels of machine in acceptable condition

All gauges appear in good condition

Exhaust system undamaged and in good working order

No sign of damage in air filter housing

Engine appears to be breathing well and in good working order

All fluids are topped up and in good working order

UHF located on plant

Fire extinguisher located on plant and within 6 months of tested date
