Patio 1 - Upgrade Condition Assessment

  • Take overview photo of existing patio.

  • Is P1 outer beam and column structure in good order?

  • What is the issue? Take photos.

  • Overall Length of patio - [parallel to fascia]

  • Overall Width of patio = length of sheeting

  • What is the span of the sheeting? [measurement A as per sketch - fascia face to outer beam face]

  • What is the span of the outer beam between columns? [measurement B as per sketch - centre to centre of posts]

  • Is P1 sheeting free from damage?

  • What is the issue? Take photos.

  • Measure the overall extent of the sheeting [patio length]

  • Is there any cantilever [OH] on the outer beam?

  • Measure cantilever length for both ends. [example - 600 - 300 record both]

Column Information

  • [starting with your back to the wall of house, count the columns left to right] Is the column free from corrosion, dents. Take a photo of the each column and the base fixing.

  • Take photos of columns left to right sequence.

  • Describe any issues.

  • Measure column height FFL to top of beam

  • What is the hardstand type?

  • What new column installation method is recommended?
