Checklist

  • Install wall waste plumbing including puddle flanges (Puddle Flanges are not required for tile tray / Vedi waterproof system)

  • Water hot and cold power rough in completed the shower mixer location and product as per C&M and wet area plan. (Please keep wet area plan copies at site)

  • Surface clean; free of dust, dirt, oil, grease, paint, curing compounds, concrete sealers, loosely bonded toppings, old adhesive residues

  • Water proofing application completed

  • Contractor is using Westurban approved (WPA/Gripset/Ardex) Please upload images of products including primer

  • Wall and floor substrate are comply product as per Australian Standard

  • Ensure all pipe penetrations and angles are appropriately detailed (polyurethane or similar) to create fillet/cove.

  • Wall/wall, wall/floor junctions and other areas where movements is expected are also appropriately detailed (polyurethane or similar) to create fillet / cove

  • Polyurethane or similar sufficiently cured prior to waterproofing application

  • 1800mm high wall water proofing in shower areas and 150mm water proofing rest of area

  • Waterproofing applied at recommended thickness (i.e 0.4-0.5mm) per coat

  • Number of waterproofing coats applied as per manufacturer's guidelines

  • Barricade entrance to prevent entry by site personnel

  • Protect work against drafts during installation and again for at least 72 hours after completion to prevent damages to substrates, installation products and flooring materials

  • Waterproofing sufficiently cured prior to proceeding with follow coat / screeding / other application

  • Screeding is provided in shower area and slope 1:100
