Thoroughly vacuum/sweep all hard floor surface areas and damp mop clean.

Vacuum entrance matting

Empty waste paper bins, replace with bin liners where necessary

Dust/polish reception desks and panels

Dust/wipe all telephone and entry systems removing finger marks.

Damp wipe kick plates

Remove any finger marks from reception and internal doors, paintwork, cabinets etc.

Remove finger marks form light switches and plug sockets

Remove any visible cobwebs as necessary

Spot check all walls and remove marks where possible

Wipe/polish entrance signs and floor display boards

Spot check internal glazing

Entrance & Reception - Weekly

Dust and wipe clean all signs and ledges

Damp wipe all trunking, shelves, window ledges, radiators, fire extinguishers and pipes

Dust all picture frames, notices etc.

Damp wipe clean all waste paper bins and umbrella stands

Spray buff marble flooring in reception areas

Lifts - Daily

Thoroughly clean all doors to a buffed finish removing hand marks.

Wipe and buff mirrors

Clean, removing all finger marks, all floor selection panels and emergency intercom panel.

Damp mop hard floors

Clean floor indicator panels

Report any faulty indicators, call buttons or lamps noticed to building manager.

Staircase & Landings - Daily

Vacuum clean carpeted stairs and wash clean any non-slip nosing's

Wipe and polish balustrades

Wipe clean and polish hand rails

Dust all window sills and ledges

Mirrors, glazed screens, glazed doors (including door vision panels) etc to be polished/buffed.

Wipe clean all light switches, door finger plates and general door furniture

Wipe clean any kick plates

Remove cobwebs

Staircases & Landings - Weekly

Vacuum clean fire escape staircase

Dust/wipe fire extinguishers

Toilets - Daily

Thoroughly sweep all floors

Thoroughly wash all floors using germicidal disinfectant detergent and leave smear free.

Empty and replace waste bins, collect litter and transfer to disposal points. Bin liners are to be change daily

Replenish consumable items from clients stock or as supplied by PSS.

Wash WC pans, wash basins using germicidal disinfectant and dry polish

Wash both sides of toilet seats using germicidal disinfectant and dry polish

Damp-dust and dry-polish taps and all plated metal work

Dry-polish mirrors

Damp-dust dryers, pipes, cisterns, sanitary disposal units and towel cabinets

Remove finger marks from painted Formica and tiled surfaces

Toilets - Weekly

Keep taps, basins and toilet pans free from limescale, using descaler, rinse clean.

Cleaners room and store rooms

Cleaners rooms are to be kept clean and tidy at all times

Floors are to be swept and cleared of all litter

Waste paper bins to be emptied and sacks taken to the plastic bins at the rear of the premises.

After emptying the bins should be washed down, cleaned and disinfected (inside & out) polished dry and left in a clean and hygienic condition free from smears. New liners should be fitted to each waste bin.

Any sinks or wash hand basins/taps to be washed, cleaned and disinfected, polished dry and left in a clean and hygienic condition free form smears.

Check stocks of cleaning materials and replenish as necessary
