  • This check is completed by the front of house team to ensure the building is in a good condition for our customers coming into work. This report is used to highlight any urgent cleaning and maintenance concerns to be addressed and to ensure all systems are working and areas are tidy, also used as a check on key health and safety points and to ensure we security ready.

General

  • Are all cupboards/ high risk area doors locked and secure?

  • Are the lifts free from spillages and many urgent cleaning or maintenance issues? (For example: spillages, cracked mirrors)

  • Are all TV screens clean and operating?

  • Are the toilets free from any urgent cleaning or maintenance issues?

  • Does everything appear to be in good order in the COMMS room?

  • Are the COMMS rooms locked and secure?

  • Is the print areas free from any urgent cleaning or maintenance issues? (For example: Doors falling off their hinges, spillages on carpets or trip hazards)

  • Is the print areas free from empty toner cartridges?

  • Are fire escape routes clear and is rubbish being disposed of properly?

  • Are the fire exit doors secure?

  • Are all doors operating correctly?

  • Are the kitchens free from any urgent cleaning or maintenance issues. (For example: broken taps, broken fridge door, spillages, overflowing bins

  • Are the fridges free from any urgent cleaning or maintenance issues? (Spillage instead the fridge, broken shelf’s)

  • Are the tops of lockers clear from items?

  • Are all ceiling tiles in place?

  • Is the office space free from any urgent cleaning or maintenance issues? ( <br>For example: broken desks, spillages)

  • Are all breakout areas tidy?

  • Are all whiteboards / wipeable walls clean and presentable?

  • Are cables tidy around screens and under desks in breakout spaces?

  • Is all glass free from any urgent cleaning or maintenance issues? (For example: broken glass, unpleasant marks)

  • Are all lights working?

  • Are all wet floor signs put away?

  • Are the fire extinguishers in place?

  • Is the space free from trailing cables/good cable management?

  • Are all noticeboards and clocks securely fixed?

  • Are all noticeboards up to date?

Main entrance/reception

  • Is the main entrance and central area free from any urgent cleaning or maintenance issues? (For example: spillages)

  • Is restaurant clean, tidy and bins empty?

  • Are the speed gates operating correctly? And are they clean?

  • Is the reception desk clean and tidy?

  • Is the CCTV operating? (Check all cameras and ensure is recording up to 28 days)

  • Is the fire panel operating? Are there any faults showing or any damage to the panel?

  • Is the intruder panel operating and no obvious damage?

Other areas

  • Are the shower facilities free from any urgent cleaning or maintenance issues? (For example: drying rail fallen off the wall, drainage issues, spillages)

  • Are all showers turned off?

  • Are all steps and ramps free from debris?

  • Are all external lights working?

  • Is the intercom , car park gate working correctly?

  • Are the bins stores closed and are they clean?

  • Is the smoking area free from debris?

  • Are all ashtrays empty?

  • Are all walk ways free from debris?

  • Are all plant room doors locked?

  • Are all mechanical doors operating correctly?

Lifts

  • Are the lifts operating correctly?

  • Does the emergency communication intercom connect to reception?

  • Does the emergency audible alarm bell sound?

  • Have all lifts been checked? (Send check to Helpdesk)
