Compressed gas cylinders must be handled with extreme caution. Maintain the cylinder in an upright position at all times.

All cylinders must be in a cart or tied off in order to prevent the cylinder from falling.

Remove Cylinders from building when not used for 24 hours.

All valves must have a regulator attached in order to use.

When opening cylinders open slowly and stand to the side avoid injury if the regulator malfunctions.

Move cylinders using carts or dolleys. Dragging, pushing, or pulling is prohibated.

Protective Caps are on all cylinders not in use.

Visually inspect cylinders for leaks and cracks. Inspect relief devices, valves, and protection caps and stems.

Cylinders must be stored 20 feet from all combustibles and ensure proper signage is in place.

No smoking near compressed gas cylinders.
