Long Pants, Safety Shoes, Safety Vests, Hard Hats, and Safety Glasses are required at all times. Gloves are to be worn 100%.

Select the appropriate type glove for the type of work being performed. (Cut Resistent, Chemical Resistent, Heat Resistent)

Face shields will be used in operations when the entire face needs protection and should be worn to protect eyes and face against flying particles, metal sparks, and chemical/ biological splash. This includes any work at or above head height. Safety glasses should be worn in addition to face shields.

Wear the appropriate shade number for the work being performed for protection from injurious light radiation. (Hot Work, Lasers)

When welding, appropriate glove materials and a welding helmet with appropriate shade lens must be worn. All exposed skin areas should be covered with flame resistant clothing free of excessive holes or frays. Safety glasses must be worn as well.

First Aid Kits are available in the work area.

Eye Wash Stations are available within the work area.

Appropriate Safety Goggles must be worn when performing work with hazardous chemicals

Ear plugs must be worn while operating any noise producing equipment or performing work in any high noise areas. This include tamping, power saws, and impact tools.

Visually inspect PPE for damage, cleaniness, and inspection on appropriate types (Fall Protection, etc).
