Contractor induction

  • Have all contractor staff involved in the work undertaken the Estate Office induction? Are safety cards available for inspection?

  • Is the contractor working in a potentially hazardous area? Are relevant authorisations in place e.g. permits and isolations.

  • Has the contractor provided adequate portable access equipment? Is access equipment in good order and free from defects?

Workplace housekeeping standards

  • Is the contractor maintaining a tidy workplace? Are materials, waste and work equipment securely and safely stored?

Asbestos management

  • Has the asbestos register been consulted prior to the commencement of work?

Electrical safety

  • Has contractors electrical equipment been tested / inspected? Is non-battery powered electrical equipment 110v ac or lower?
