FACE DRILLING CHECKLIST

PRIOR TO CHARGING

  • Face is supported upto 0.6m (roof)

  • Length of hole checked and cleaned

  • Loading stick used of 4m length

  • Line hole drilling done

DURING CHARGING

  • Minimum length of stemming 0.6m

  • Correct delay sequence as per plan

NOTE:

  • Face drilling should always start from bottom to top

  • Incase of misfire and blown-out development, supervisors need to assess the hazard as per SOP

  • Charging should always happen from top to bottom
