  • clearance between all door leafs and frames are no less than 2mm or greater than 5mm

  • All screw fixings to door hinges are flush and not proud

Distortion of doors tolerances

  • Twisting of door measured diagonally across the door does not exceed 5mm

  • Bending in door heights up to 2150mm does not exceed 4mm

  • Bending in door heights between 2150mm and 2400mm does not exceed 6mm

  • Bending in door heights over 2400mm does not exceed 7mm

  • Surface misalignment at the meeting edge of double swing or French doors when closed does not exceed 5mm

  • Bending in door widths up to 1020mm wide does not exceed 2mm

Internal fixings

  • Gaps between mouldings and other fixtures at mitres or butt joints and or against wall surfaces does not exceed 1mm

  • Skirtings and architraves align and are flush at mitre and butt joints and are level

Completion of Lock up

  • All doors have been hung

  • All shelving has been installed

  • Scotia / beading if any has been installed

  • Tile scribes installed
