Spill Carts

  • AGOM 3.5.3.1; Minimum requirement is one Fuel Spill Cart per three (3) aircraft parking spots

When working in the Air Operations Area (AOA), Associates must wear the appropriate personal protection and conform to the following requirements:

  • Observe all associates at a given gate and report on the following PPE questions

  • AGOM 3.3.2.2; Impact-resistant gloves must be worn at all times, while operating on the ramp (e.g. aircraft loading / unloading, operating GSE, arrival / departure procedures, etc.) to protect against cuts or abrasions, temperature, and manual handling tasks where there is a possibility of injury to the hand by sharp, pointed or abrasive objects

  • AGOM 3.3.2.2; Pin up and tie back long hair exceeding the neck-line, including ponytails, while working

  • AGOM 3.3.2.2; An ANSI Class II High Visibility safety vest or integrated wearable clothing with equivalent visibility as the outer-most layer of clothing at all times on the AOA. Vests and coats must be worn with the zippers or clasps secured to ensure 360° coverage.

  • AGOM 3.3.2.2; Hearing protection (earmuffs or earplugs) meeting the noise reduction rating (NRR) of 30 decibel (db) or higher.

  • AGOM 3.3.2.2; Badge must be displayed while on secured area, including the AOA and must be worn on the outer most layer and above the waist.
