H&S Site Visit Inspection- Electrical and Waste

Are all electrical outlets (i.e. plugs, wall switches, etc.) covered with the appropriate cover plates?

Is the shop not using extension cords and/or surge protectors for permanent wiring needs (also ensure the shop is not plugging a surge protector into another surge protector)?

Is the server area kept clean, orderly, and free of any hazards?

Are cleaning chemicals properly stored?

Are all electrical outlets (i.e. plugs, wall switches, etc.) covered with the appropriate cover plates?

Are Body Techs or Painters using frayed or exposed wiring cords for poratble hand tools or equipment?

2 post lift- Has the 2 post lift been inspected in the last 12 months?

Is the operating box free of open/exposed knockouts?

Does the lift have any exposed wiring overall?

Does the shop have an alignment rack?

If yes, are all electrical wiring components in good, safe operating condition?

Are the locks in good condition and do the locks work properly?

Are all hydraulic hoses in good, safe operating condition?

Are all electrical wiring components in good, safe operating condition?

Does the shop have a portable spot welder?

If yes, are all electrical components in good, safe operating condition?

Used Oil compliant?

Used Antifreeze compliant?

Used oil filters?

Used oily waste (kitty litter/oily wipers)?

Paint waste compliant?

Are paint containers disposed of correctly?

Aerosols waste compliant?

Flammable wipers compliant?

Is the site properly managing all repair waste properly (i.e. bumpers, radiators, steel, cardboard, etc.)?
